Post – HR Assistant

Location - Gondia, MH


We are hiring for an experienced school HR for our group of schools in Gondia, MH.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources Management:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with the organization mission and values.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and leave records.
  • Coordinate and improve performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Handle employee relations matters, such as conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Collaborate with the centre leadership on evaluating compensation and incentive programs to make sure they are competitive and based on equity.
  • Design and implement the necessary strategies for retaining the talent of the organization.
  • Stay updated on labour laws and regulations to ensure HR practices and policies are complying.

2. Recruitment and Selection:

  • Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify staffing needs and
  • develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • In collaboration with the hiring manager, create job descriptions and advertisements for
  • teaching positions, and post them on relevant platforms.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing through various channels, including online job portals, social
  • media, and networking.
  • Screen resumes, shortlist candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with relevant stakeholders, ensuring a smooth
  • selection process.
  • Perform reference checks and verify employment history of potential candidates.
  • Assist in negotiating employment offers and preparing employment contracts in
  • collaboration with the Principal/CEO.
  • Coordinate the hiring process for new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork and
  • documentation is completed.

3. Onboarding:

  • Should be aware of the onboarding procedure of new employees.
  • Conduct orientation sessions for onboarding and familiarizing new employees with the organization vision, mission, culture and policies.

4. Training:

  • Coordinate with respective department heads and organize training programs for teachers and staff, addressing professional development needs.

5. Organizational climate:

  • Develop the strategies for enhancing the organizational climate so the learning centers can have a positive employee experience, where everyone feels included, communication is effective, diversity is embraced, team work and innovation are valued and our organizational values are lived by all the staff.
  • Analyze annual staff survey results and use data to support ongoing organizational development
  • Monitor and analyze key talent metrics and make data-driven recommendations to improve talent management strategies and initiatives.

6. HR Reporting and Compliance:

  • Generate HR reports on various metrics, such as turnover, recruitment, and training, to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Keep abreast of HR best practices and recommend process improvements to enhance HR operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a CBSE School setting.
  • Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, selection, onboarding, training and development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
