Job Description

As the Head of Startup Portfolio at LetsVenture, you will play a pivotal role in building and managing relationships with startup founders, ensuring compliance with platform requirements, facilitating open lines of communication between founders and investors, and driving favorable exits for our portfolio companies. You will be responsible for securing allocations for future funding rounds and maximizing returns for our investors. Responsibilities

1. Relationship Building and Management:

   - Build strong and trusted relationships with startup founders in our portfolio.

   - Act as a primary point of contact and provide support, guidance, and mentorship to founders.

   - Foster a collaborative and mutually beneficial relationship between founders and investors.

2. Compliance and Investor Reporting:

   - Ensure adherence to compliance requirements and standards set by the platform.

   - Oversee investor reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting on portfolio companies' performance.

   - Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reporting procedures and improve efficiency.

3. Founder-Investor Communication:

   - Facilitate open lines of communication between founders and investors.

   - Organize regular meetings, updates, and events to encourage interaction and collaboration.

   - Address any concerns or issues raised by founders or investors and provide appropriate resolutions.

4. Allocations and Funding Rounds:

   - Identify promising startups within the portfolio and assess their growth potential.

   - Work closely with founders to secure allocations for future funding rounds.

   - Collaborate with the investment team to analyze investment opportunities and make informed decisions regarding funding.

5. Exit Strategy and Maximizing Returns:

   - Develop and execute exit strategies for portfolio companies, aiming to maximize returns for investors.

   - Conduct thorough due diligence and market research to identify favorable exit opportunities.

   - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to negotiate and structure favorable exit deals.

6. Portfolio Performance Monitoring:

   - Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of portfolio companies.

   - Conduct regular assessments of key metrics, growth trajectories, and market trends.

   - Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on portfolio performance analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in venture capital, private equity, or startup ecosystem, with a focus on portfolio management and/or investor relations.
• Strong understanding of compliance requirements and investor reporting.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute favorable exit deals.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate startup growth potential and market opportunities.
• Strong business acumen and financial literacy.
• Self-motivated and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
