Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to join our real estate development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of residential and commercial buildings, ensuring they meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. The Architect will collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and construction teams, to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Design Development:

o  Create innovative architectural designs for residential and commercial projects.

o  Develop detailed architectural drawings, plans, and specifications.

o  Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.

2.    Project Coordination:

o  Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

o  Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise.

3.    Construction Oversight:

o  Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to architectural plans and quality standards.

o  Conduct site visits and inspections to address any issues or deviations from the plan.

o  Provide guidance and support to construction teams during the building process.

4.    Documentation and Reporting:

o  Prepare and present design proposals and project reports.

o  Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.

o  Ensure all architectural documents are accurate and up to date.

5.    Sustainability and Innovation:

o  Incorporate sustainable design principles and green building practices into projects as far as possible

o  Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies and rules and regulatory authority ammendments.

o  Innovate and propose new design solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

·      Licensed Architect or in the process of obtaining licensure.

·      Minimum of 4 years of experience in architectural design and project management.

·      Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).

·      Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.

·      Excellent communication and presentation skills.

·      Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

·      Experience in residential and commercial real estate projects.

·      Knowledge of sustainable design practices and LEED certification.

·      Proficiency in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software.
