Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Own the overall look, feel, Interior design, and ambiance of restaurants, ensuring alignment with business goals, brand identity, and customer needs.
• Champion design thinking and user-centered design principles across the organization.
• Develop and visualize comprehensive plans for store layouts and designs.
• Oversee the complete design process for multiple projects, from concept development to final delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing and projects, to ensure design alignment and integration.
• Drive initiatives for existing store design and layout improvements, while maintaining cost efficiency.
• Conduct regular design reviews to assess design concepts, prototypes, and final deliverables.
• Perform regular inspections to ensure that layouts, designs, and setups meet quality standards.
• Research, evaluate, and implement new design strategies and technologies to enhance the customer experience.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure the timely delivery of store fixtures, equipment, and inventory.
• Coordinate the grand opening of new stores to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain detailed records of store projects, including budgets, timelines, and vendor contracts.
• Focus on cost optimization in all design and implementation stages.
• Oversee material procurement and ensure the quality of materials used.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in architecture / interior design
• With a 15+ years experience
• Expert knowledge of drafting and designing software, like AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Photoshop etc.
• Experience in managing and developing specifications, material schedules
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Experience in designing interiors, branding elements in QSR/Restaurant/Retail industry
