Job Overview
We are seeking a Parts Manager to join our team in Jaipur. This is a mid-level, full-time position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The Parts Manager will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, supply chain operations, and vendor relations to ensure smooth functioning and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in parts management or a related field.
- Proficiency in inventory management techniques, including stock control and order processing.
- Extensive experience in supply chain management, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of parts.
- Strong vendor management skills to maintain healthy relationships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Ability to conduct data analysis to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs effectively.
- Technical knowledge of automobile parts to assist in accurate identification and procurement.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills to address issues quickly and efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire process of parts inventory management, including stocking, ordering, and restocking.
- Manage supply chain activities to ensure timely delivery and availability of parts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure high-quality parts at competitive prices.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and make informed decisions on stock levels and reordering.
- Collaborate with the sales and service departments to understand their parts requirements and ensure prompt fulfillment.
- Implement and monitor effective inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of inventory to maintain accuracy and quality standards.
- Train and supervise parts department staff to ensure efficient performance and adherence to company policies.
