Job Description:  

We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable **Old Car Evaluator** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the value of used cars, identifying any issues or necessary repairs, and providing an accurate market valuation to ensure fair pricing for our customers. This position requires a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, market trends, and excellent negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect and evaluate the condition, history, and market value of used vehicles

- Identify any damages, mechanical issues, or cosmetic defects and assess repair costs

- Conduct test drives to assess vehicle performance and detect any mechanical problems

- Determine an accurate resale value based on current market trends, vehicle condition, and mileage

- Prepare detailed evaluation reports and maintain records of all assessments

- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure fair and competitive pricing for used car inventory

- Provide customers with clear and transparent explanations regarding vehicle evaluations

- Stay updated on industry trends and market changes to maintain accurate valuation skills

Qualifications:

- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in car evaluation, inspection, or a related field

- In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics and familiarity with various car models

- Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

- Good communication and negotiation skills

- Basic computer skills for maintaining records and reports

- Valid driver’s license
