Job Overview:

As a Semi Qualified CA, you will be responsible for assisting in audit engagements, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the finance team with various tasks. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in audit and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit Assistance: Assist in planning, executing, and finalizing audits for a range of clients. Ensure that audit procedures are followed in compliance with the regulatory standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with the relevant accounting standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax, ensuring compliance with current tax laws.
• Internal Controls: Evaluate internal controls, identify any weaknesses, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Accounting Support: Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Client Interaction: Interact with clients for gathering necessary financial data and discussing audit findings or accounting-related queries.
• Research & Analysis: Conduct research on accounting and tax matters to provide solutions for complex financial issues.
• Reporting: Prepare and review reports for management and clients based on the audit and financial findings.

Qualifications:

• Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in auditing or accounting roles, ideally within a public accounting firm or audit department.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or other ERP systems).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and accounting standards (IND AS/GAAP).
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in external audits, internal audits, and tax audits.
• Knowledge of GST and Income Tax regulations.
