Job Overview:
The Senior Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth at the assigned center through effective sales strategies, local marketing, and relationship management. The ideal candidate should be a proactive salesperson, willing to travel, and capable of conducting seminars and workshops.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Drive sales and generate walk-ins through BTL promotions and local marketing efforts.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients while expanding the client base.
- Market Research: Visit local colleges to gather information about prospective program and explore partnership opportunities.
- Event Management: Organize and conduct workshops and seminars to promote the center’s offerings.
- Competitor Analysis: Visit competitors to understand their offerings, pricing, and unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement growth strategies and plans.
- Write and negotiate business proposals and contracts.
- Identify business strengths and customer needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends both locally and internationally.
- Report on successes and areas for improvement.
- Work in B2B, focusing on tie-ups for business.
- Learn and understand our products/services to effectively communicate with clients.
- Assist in identifying potential clients and market segments.
- Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and trends.
- Support the development of sales strategies and plans.
- Assist in the creation of sales pitches and presentations.
Required Skills:
- Understanding client needs, offering/proposing best-suited products or solutions.
- Research business directories, web searches, or digital resources to generate potential leads.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and eager to learn about sales and business development.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies for lead generation.
- Attend networking events and industry conferences to promote the company.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of above 1+years in business development or sales, preferably in the EdTech sector.
