Skillset
- Minimum of 6+ Years on Hands on Experience supporting DB2 LUW Environments.
- Hands on Experience in managing DB2 Stored Procedures
- Excellent communication, analytical an,d problem-solved skills
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and manage DB2 Objects like Databases, Tablespaces, Tables, Indexes etc in Development regions.
- Prepare Test environment to Perform Data Refresh
- Identify problematic SQL and optimized SQL Queries that helped improve application performance.
- Able to perform Database Backup, Restore, Unload, Load, Reorg, Runstat etc..
- Alter DB2 Objects in Test Environments
- Analyse Index requirements and design appropriate indexes
- Support the Application team to resolve DB2 Issues
- Assist Developer on Db2 Native Store Procedure Performance Issues and bug fixes.
- Knowledge on Db2 z/OS will be added advantage.
