Kukulkan Manpower Consultancy is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Lead with a focus on manual testing to join our team in Madurai. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will lead and oversee manual QA processes to ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience with manual testing techniques and best practices to ensure comprehensive coverage and reliability of software products.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming for writing and executing test scripts, enhancing the efficiency of testing processes.
• Experience with SQL for data validation and testing purposes, ensuring accurate data manipulation and retrieval.
• Proficiency in using Selenium for automation testing is beneficial, facilitating regression tests for web applications.
• Familiarity with Appium for mobile application testing, both on Android and iOS platforms, is an asset.
• Experience in preparing detailed test plans to outline testing scope, strategy, and execution schedules effectively.
• Skilled in creating and maintaining comprehensive test cases for various project requirements, ensuring systematic coverage.
• Understanding and experience with Agile methodologies to work efficiently in an iterative and collaborative environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the quality assurance efforts by planning, designing, and executing manual test cases with precision.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive testing solutions.
• Identify, document, and track defects found during testing, collaborating on resolutions with the development team.
• Ensure test environments are set up correctly and maintained throughout testing cycles.
• Coordinate with automation testing efforts using Selenium and Appium to complement manual testing processes where appropriate.
• Continuously improve testing processes and documentation to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality excellence.
• Contribute to the development of QA metrics to track product quality and testing effectiveness across projects.
