Job Description
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Windows, Linux, Solaris based Servers, Systems, Operational Tools, and VM’S.
- Proficient with Patching and upgrade of Windows, Linux, Solaris Servers, Systems and its software’s.
- Manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware or software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Experience on Backup and Recovery tools are added advantage.
- Experience working with ITIL Process
Requirements
- 3 - 4 Years of Proven experience as a System Administrator,
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Experience working with ITIL Process
- Ability to create batch or shell scripts
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
