Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer, to be based in Coimbatore, for a mid-level, full-time position. The ideal candidate should have up to 6 years of experience in HVAC system design, energy efficiency analysis, and proficiency in AutoCAD among other relevant skills.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in HVAC system design with a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and designing HVAC systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC codes and standards to ensure compliance and safety.
• Experience in energy efficiency analysis to optimize performance and reduce costs.
• Skilled in designing ductwork for various types of HVAC systems.
• Expertise in selecting appropriate HVAC equipment for different applications.
• Knowledge of Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) systems for efficient network management.
• Familiarity with chiller systems for large-scale cooling applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for commercial and residential buildings.
• Conduct energy efficiency analysis to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for HVAC designs, including ductwork and piping.
• Ensure all designs comply with current HVAC codes and standards.
• Select and specify appropriate HVAC equipment based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems into overall building design.
• Analyze VRF and chiller system requirements and incorporate them into design plans.
• Provide technical support and consulting to project teams during installation and commissioning phases.
