Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer specializing in Skin and Hair Products to join our team. The position is junior-level with locations in Tiruchirappalli, Madurai, and Chennai. This is a full-time role requiring 1 to 3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and expanding market presence for our skin and hair care products.
Key Accountabilities:
- To generate sales through regular salon/client visit as defined in the list provided
- Achieving the sales target set by the organization
- Responsible for product detailing with customers for order generation
- Ensure company policies and norms are followed
- To visit Distributors/Super Distributors in the territory to make the Brands available and to keep track of orders
- Ensure call effectiveness & productivity Timely online reporting of daily work.
Purpose: To achieve given targets. Should be result oriented. Should have knowledge of the Market/Area for which he is responsible. Act as bridge between distributors and customers. He/She should ensure that work norms are abided.
Technical Knowledge: MS Office, Aware of key account operations, Technical tools such as reporting tool, Distributor Order Punch etc
Competencies:
- Knowledge about Skin care products
- Willingness to travel
- Able to work under pressure
- Adaptable
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in sales and business development.
- Proven negotiation skills for closing deals and partnerships (Mandatory skill)
- In-depth knowledge of skincare products (Mandatory skill).
- Strong presentation skills for effectively showcasing products to potential clients.
- Lead generation skills to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Proficient in haircare products with a good understanding of market demands.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive business plan to increase the market share of skin and hair care products.
- Identify and approach potential clients and business partners to generate new sales leads.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients to showcase the benefits of our products.
- Negotiate sales deals and contracts with clients to achieve set revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to develop effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management on business development activities.
