Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the development and implementation of financial planning processes, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to provide insights into business performance, identify areas for improvement, and support decision-making by senior management.
  • Analyze credit and debit transaction data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators related to credit and debit usage, delinquency rates, fraud detection, and customer behavior.
  • Provide actionable insights to senior management to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement in credit and debit product offerings.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the company's budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish budget targets and monitor performance against financial goals.
  • Track expenses, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and strategic priorities.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and compliance reviews, addressing any audit findings and implementing recommendations for process improvements.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor cash flow projections and liquidity requirements to optimize the company's cash position and ensure adequate funding for operational needs and strategic investments.
  • Implement cash management strategies to maximize returns on idle cash balances while minimizing financial risk.

Risk Management:

  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Financial Modeling and Forecasting:

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing.
  • Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to predict future financial performance and assess the impact of various business initiatives on profitability and growth.
