Job Description for Guidewire Developer

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Analyze claims configuration specifications and associated requirements. 
• Create design specifications by coordinating with onsite team for the configuration requirements.
• Collaborate closely with data analyst and QA team to ensure good quality product delivery. 
• Responsible for continuous formal and informal communication on project status. 
• Perform peer reviews on technical deliverables from the project to ensure good quality product.
• Collaborate and coordinate closely with onsite and client team to ensure project expectations are met.
• Should be willing to train and mentor fellow peers and internal employees on Guidewire.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Overall 4-6+ years of IT experience with 2-4+ experience on Guidewire CC configuration development. Preferable experience on Guidewire version 8.0 and above.

2. Should have experience on handling enhancements and defects as part of Guidewire maintenance team.

3. Must have good experience in Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal line of business.

4. Must have strong Agile/Scrum Project Experience.

1. Must-have good communication skills since this role will have direct interaction with client teams.

2. Must be both individual contributor, good team player and self-motivated to take on challenges.

3. Good to have exposure on all PC, or BC.
