Kruti Coffee is a social enterprise established in 2013 by three medical professionals. Our mission is to impact coffee growers in the Koraput region of Odisha, primarily tribal and organic coffee growers. We follow the Fortune at the Bottom of the Pyramid model, incubating various impact models to make coffee grown in Koraput sustainable for the producers and the entire value chain. We have three farm partners and have also started a retail chain of coffee houses in India.

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages to our customers. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job location is Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista, with 4 to 6 years of experience
• Knowledge of various coffee brewing methods and techniques
• Ability to operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work well within a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and drip coffee
• Ensure that the coffee is brewed and prepared to a high standard of quality
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations
• Handle cash and process payments accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and utensils
• Stock and replenish coffee beans, supplies, and condiments
• Adhere to health and safety regulations
• Stay up-to-date with coffee industry trends and new brewing techniques
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
