Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Continental Chef to join our dynamic team at Kruti Coffee in Bhubaneswar. This is a full-time, mid-level position that requires expertise in preparing continental cuisine. The ideal candidate should have significant culinary skills, creativity, and an eye for detail to elevate our food offerings alongside our exceptional coffee beverages.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Extensive experience in preparing, cooking, and presenting continental dishes to a high standard.
  • Strong knowledge of ingredients, flavor combinations, and food presentation techniques.
  • Creativity to develop unique and appealing menu items that complement our coffee offerings.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes served.
  • Proficiency in culinary skills such as chopping, marinating, grilling, baking, and plating.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and management.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of hygiene and complying with food safety standards.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes according to the menu specifications.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation to meet customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen and management team to plan and develop new recipes.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory to ensure availability of ingredients and manage food costs.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment and work areas are kept clean and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and practice good hygiene in all food handling processes.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior kitchen staff to enhance their performance and skills.
  • Assist in managing kitchen operations and ensuring smooth service during peak dining periods.
  • Qualification: at least 10th with any hospitality craft course.
