Kruti Retail Ventures LLP, also known as Kruti Coffee, is a social enterprise established in 2013 by three medical professionals. Our primary goal is to impact coffee growers in Koraput, Odisha, particularly tribal and organic coffee growers. We follow the Fortune at the bottom of the pyramid model, incubating impact models to make coffee grown in Koraput sustainable for all stakeholders in the value chain. We have successful partnerships with three farm partners: Kindiriguda, Koraput Organic, and Brown Valley. Apart from coffee production, we also operate a retail chain of coffee houses across India where we serve magical coffee drinks made from Arabica coffee grown in Koraput.

Job Overview

We are hiring a Barista And Steward Trainee to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Barista And Steward Trainee, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. This is a Full-Time position based in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The salary range for this role will be competitive for a fresher with less than 1 year of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee varieties and brewing techniques
• Excellent customer service skills
• Min. 10+2 pass (For Steward Trainee) and Graduation for Barista Trainee
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and well-organized
• Ability to work well in a team
• Basic math skills for cash handling
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Prior experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required

Roles and Responsibilities

• This job provides on the Job Training.
• Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Take customer orders and prepare beverages according to established recipes
• Operate coffee brewing equipment, including coffee grinders and espresso machines
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and seating areas
• Provide prompt and efficient service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth operation of the coffee house
• Assist in restocking and inventory management
• Learn and follow all company policies and procedures
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
• Assist in other duties as assigned by the manager
