Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Bakery & Pastry Chef to join our team at Kruti Retail Ventures LLP. As a Bakery & Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods and pastries for our coffee houses. This is a senior position, requiring 7 to 10 years of experience in the field. The job location is Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Bakery & Pastry Chef, with a minimum of 7 years in a similar role.
• Highly skilled in bakery techniques, including artisan baking and confectionary.
• In-depth knowledge of pastry creation and presentation.
• Proficient in using various baking equipment and tools.
• Strong leadership and management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Degree or diploma in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create a wide variety of baked goods and pastries for our coffee houses.
• Develop and refine recipes to ensure exceptional taste and presentation.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and stock rotation for bakery ingredients and supplies.
• Supervise and train junior pastry chefs and other bakery staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized bakery kitchen.
• Collaborate with the coffee house team to create innovative and enticing dessert menus.
• Stay updated with industry trends and introduce new pastry concepts and flavors.
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of our bakery department.
