Main Accountabilities 

• To work independently as technical Lead on assigned projects in following applications;

o Electrical SCADA, IEC 61850 based Substation Automation Systems.

o Electrical Load & Distribution Management Systems. 

o Electrical Control Systems.

• Leading and mentoring team to carryout following activities;

o Design and Detailed Engineering activities.

o Panel/ Cabinet design, Co-ordinate with supplier for panel building related. activities to get the desired quality hardware built.

o System setup & configuration.

o IED communications using IEC protocols, Load shedding & Load sharing logic, Database & Control Logics Configuration on different SCADA and DCS systems.

o IED Configuration /Management & Disturbance Record Collection. 

o MFM/ ABT / TVM Meter communication.

o Internal FAT & Customer FAT activities.

o Planning of site work and coordinating site logistics arrangements.

• Managing post commissioning support- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting remotely & at Customer sites.

• Documentation and reports, as required to complete the tasks described above.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience 

• 5 plus years of experience in executing projects in Substation Automation / Electrical SCADA.

• Good knowledge / hands-on experience of working on ABB / Siemens RTU systems, IEC protocols like 101, 103, 104, DNP, IEC 61850, preferably on ABB 800xA / Siemens WinCC SCADA systems.

• Be an analytical thinker, self-starter, highly adaptable.
