Job Description

Ø To ensure that all the raw materials at incoming, in process and final stage are inspected tested and/or verified for conformity to the laid down specification as per quality plan and material specifications.

Ø Responsible for verification of records of incoming, in process and final inspection.

Ø To ensure that all the raw materials are issued to the production department only after necessary inspection and tests are done and results match raw materials specifications.

Ø To ensure that all the inspection, measuring and test equipment used in Quality Assurance Department are calibrated before validity for the same is expired.

Ø To ensure that all the non-conforming products are suitably disposed of to avoid confusion at various stages of production.

Ø To ensure that inspection and testing of the products at all the stages are carried out.

Ø To ensure that all the inspection and test records are maintained to show evidence of conformity or non-conformity to the specified requirements.

Ø To make necessary arrangements for customer/third party inspection, if any.

Ø Support MR for conducting Internal Quality Audits and improve quality system.

Ø To ensure stringent follow-up of the documented quality system.

Ø To ensure inspection and test status of the products in the production area.

Ø To report to the Plant Manager about the daily work activities.
