Job Responsibility for Production Manager.

1.   Operate production and manage production of entire Vapi plants.

2.   Daily production meeting and meeting points report to operation head daily.

3.   Coordinate with PPC for line up production accordingly in plants.

4.   Manage daily plant efficiency, utilization and rejection analysis.

5.   Coordinate daily with HR for manpower issues. Involve operation head while required.

6.   Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment’s efficiency optimization.

7.   Coordinate with quality team for daily scarp/rejection analysis and improvements.

8.   Daily monitoring Jigging department production efficiency and improvements.

9.   Daily meeting with plating quality testing labs for schedule testing and failure reports.

10. Meet the deadlines of individual production tasks during shifts.

11. Report on defective products or machinery to Operation head daily.

12. ETP daily monitoring review incoming water and outlet water quantity and quality.

13. Review RM consumption with individual departments and coordinate same with Purchase and Store.

14. Liaising with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements.

15. Close coordination with PPC for production plan v/s failures review daily.

16. Daily review 5S level in plant and shop floors.

17. Daily review safety guidelines and follow up same in plants.

18. Plan failure and daily production reports and breakdown summary report to Operation heads daily basis.

19. Monthly MIS generate for Vapi production/consumption/Efficiency /OEE/ and improvements done in Vapi plants.

20. Initiate kaizen activity on shop floors, improvements on shop floors for digital and pictorial WI at shop floors.

21. Interact with customer while production failures/ quality failures will lead supply failures as per plan. Manage customer for line support or supply.

Qualifications

• B.tech(Chemical) / B.sc (Chemical)
• 22+ years of production experience
• Strong organizational and managerial skills
