·        Managing all patients coming to the department.

·        Attending the OPDs along with consultants & stay duty assignments as required.

·        Attending the emergencies.

·        Making appropriate referrals to other specialties on the merit of the case.

·        Maintaining proper communication with guest and their relatives.

·        Proper documentation in EMR.

·        Compliance to CPOE.

·        Preparation and Scrutiny of discharge summaries.

·        Maintain correspondence with all referring doctors at the time of first visit and during follow-ups.

·        Notification of leave in advance except in emergencies and making alternate duty arrangements during the week period.

·        Any invasive procedure will be subject to clearance by the

Credentialing & Privileging committee.
