SAP SCM Consultant

(exp 3 to 14 Years)

Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in SAP SCM implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

Analyse clients' supply chain processes and requirements to design and implement SAP SCM solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance visibility.

Configure SAP SCM functionalities including demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, and procurement.

Customize SAP SCM functionalities as needed to meet specific client requirements, working closely with developers and other consultants.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP SD, MM, PP, and WM consultants to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

Provide guidance and training to end-users on SAP SCM functionalities, best practices, and system usage.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP SCM systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and managing system upgrades.

Stay up to date with the latest SAP SCM trends and innovations, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or related field.

Minimum 3 to 14 years of experience working as an SAP SCM Consultant, with hands-on experience in at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.

In-depth knowledge of SAP SCM functionalities including demand planning, supply planning, production planning, inventory management, and procurement.

Strong understanding of supply chain industry processes and best practices.

Proficiency in SAP SCM configuration, customization, and testing.

Experience with integration between SAP SCM and other SAP modules such as SD, MM, PP, and WM.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

SAP SCM certification is preferred but not required.
