Job Responsibility:

Performs quality assurance analysis and testing of complex internal and third-party business applications.

• Creates, implements, and executes manual/automated test cases.

• Reviews and analyzes business requirements, systems requirements, and specifications documents to

provide timely and meaningful feedback.

• Creates detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test scenarios.

• Estimates, prioritizes, plans and coordinates testing activities.

• Creates, implements, and executes manual test cases.

• Ability to direct toward root cause analysis of issues and to clearly communicate findings.

• Identifies defects in multiple environments and throughout all phases of the development life cycle.

• Log bugs and defects in JIRA.

• Coordinates with appropriate resources to ensure proper tracking and resolution of all defects.

• Researches and proactively recommends improvements for testing tools and techniques.

• Prepares reports as needed using available information and data

Must have:

• 2-6 years of experience as a QA Tester.

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent education or work experience

• 1-3 years of developing automated test scripts using Selenium, AccelQ or similar testing tool.

• Ability to work as part of a high-performance team in a fast-paced environment with minimal requirements.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Black box testing experience.

• Strong multitask skills, understanding of SDLC, and ability to meet aggressive schedules.

• Strong defect identification, triaging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented and thorough in testing assignments.

• Ability to take initiative and proactively offer suggestions and resolutions.

• Passion for delivering business value and willingness to perform other assigned tasks.

• Ability to deliver regular quick updates, system solutions, and communicate issues to team QA Lead.

Preferred:

• API testing experience.

• Back-end (SQL) testing experience.
