Job Description for Dynatrace SME

7-11 years of experience as a Dynatrace SME/Consultant or in a similar role. 

·               Rich experience to integrate Dynatrace with Azure and GCP to facilitate comprehensive diagnostic data flows and unified monitoring. 

·               Develop an alert console in Dynatrace that consolidates all alerts, including those that do not necessitate email or paging notifications. 

·               Design and implement service level dashboards for various services (e.g., Function Apps, Express Route). 

·               Create app-focused dashboards for different business areas (e.g., Digital, Pharmacy). 

·               Configure "Service Type Summary" alerts to notify teams when multiple applications encounter issues with the same service, indicating potential platform or environment problems. 

·               Leverage Dynatrace AI and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) capabilities to enhance monitoring and alerting processes. 

·               Build and customize visuals in Dynatrace, including graphs and dashboards, to provide clear and actionable insights. 

·               Oversee the migration of current monitoring setups and alerts from Azure to Dynatrace, ensuring minimal disruption and continuity of service. 

·               Pull in alert data from external sources such as Service Health and Azure Status, integrating this information into Dynatrace dashboards for a holistic view. 

·               Extensive knowledge of Dynatrace, including AI and APM functionalities. 

·               Experience with building and customizing dashboards and visualizations in Dynatrace. 

·               Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting best practices. 

·               Ability to migrate monitoring solutions and alerts from Azure to Dynatrace. 

·               Familiarity with integrating external alert data sources into monitoring dashboards. 

·               Certification in Dynatrace or related fields is preferred
