Job Description:

Primarily responsible for managing and optimizing the migration of Mainframe applications to AWS cloud using the BluAge migration tool.

Experience in application migration and strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and the BluAge migration tool

Analysing and evaluating existing Mainframe applications for migration to AWS cloud.

Understanding the legacy application architecture and dependencies to ensure a smooth migration process.

Designing and implementing migration strategies using the BluAge tool to migrate applications to the AWS cloud.

Sound knowledge of Re-platforming involves making modifications to the application to use cloud-native services with modern APIs.

Refactor involves changing the application's architecture to take advantage of serverless computing.

Working with development and infrastructure teams to ensure that migrated applications are properly configured and optimized for the AWS environment.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application migration and deployment.

Providing technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.

Developing and maintaining best practices, documentation, and training materials related to application migration to the AWS cloud.

Staying up-to-date with the latest AWS cloud services and BluAge migration tool features and enhancements.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Collaborating with other AWS cloud experts to develop and implement cloud solutions that meet business objectives.
