QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Katerra Design is hiring a Quantity Surveyor with experience in Civil and Interior Works

The Company:

Katerra Design is an architecture and interior design firm. For 30 years we have been designing and delivering advanced workplace and healthcare design across the country.

Job Description:

·       Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specification.

·       Preparation of Detailed /Pre tender estimates for Civil/ ID works.

·        Rate/ Cost analysis Labour, and other relate items

·       Preparation of tenderers prequalification documents and run the process for shortlisting the contractors

·       Prepare tender documents, incorporating conditions of contract, specifications, drawings and BOQ

·       Attend all meetings related to cost and contracts

·       Maintain trade wise list of Approved Sub contractor/ supplier database

·       Handling variations and change orders

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

·       Bachelor of Engineering with a minimum of 6 years experience in QS

·       Should be well versed in software such as Autocad, Excel and other relevant software

·       Knowledge of International and Indian method of measurements and standards

·       Demonstrable skills in value engineering and cost control techniques

·       Should have good written and verbal communication skills.

·       Should be able to handle projects independently
