Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team at Katerra India Pvt Ltd. As a Construction Planning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing the planning and scheduling activities for pre-cast construction projects. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

1.     Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, including work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and critical path analysis.

2.     Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to establish project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

3.     Perform site visits and conduct feasibility studies to assess the project requirements, constraints, and risks.

4.     Prepare accurate cost estimates, considering labor, materials, and equipment, for project planning and budgeting purposes.

5.     Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential construction issues and develop mitigation plans.

6.     Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of construction materials and equipment.

7.     Monitor and track project progress against established schedules, identifying deviations and implementing corrective measures.

8.     Conduct regular progress meetings with project stakeholders to communicate project status, resolve issues, and ensure alignment.

9.     Prepare and present project reports, including progress updates, resource utilization, and budgetary analysis.

10.  Continuously evaluate and improve construction planning processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency enhancement and cost savings.

11.  Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to pre-cast construction planning.

Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is preferred.

·       Minimum [X] years of experience in construction planning, preferably in the pre-cast construction industry.

·       Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling techniques, and construction codes and standards.

·       Proficiency in using construction planning software and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).

·       Solid understanding of cost estimating, budgeting, and resource allocation principles.

·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.

·       Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a focus on meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work.

·       Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and LEED certification is a plus.

·       Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CEP) are highly desirable.
