• To study the project thoroughly and understand the scope of work through Tender drawings / BOQ / Architectural Drawings etc.,
• To study the shop drawings and identify the variations between Shop drawings and Architectural / Tender drawings and advise QS and Contracts team to initiate Variation Claim.
• To visit the project site prior to execution and identify the construction variations and advise Design / QS team for suitable action.
• To organise site survey and forward to Design team to design brackets and order the glasses.
• To prepare the Site Organisation Chart and coordinate with HO to get the required resources.
• To prepare the Method Statement pertaining to the Scope of works and submit after approval from Management to Client / PMC.
• To Submit the documents for “List of Approved Make / Brand” and sample board of “Approved Materials” to Client / PMC and get their approval prior to ordering any materials.
• To prepare the list of equipment required to execute the work and their schedule of deployment to the Management with their Budget allocation.
• To prepare the Project Execution Schedule both in MACRO and MICRO detailing by breaking down the scope of works in line with Client expected timeline of execution.
• To include the site hindrances / dependencies from Construction progress and collection of payment from Client into our Execution schedule so that any delay from Client side will not affect our company legally and commercially.
• To document all the delays from Client side / Civil construction and submit to Client in a formal written letter communication and keep the record with QS and Contracts team for further escalation.
• To coordinate with Design department for ensure that the material ordering is happening as per the micro schedule submitted to Client.
• To ensure that all the materials received at site are inspected and approved prior to installation. All the inspection findings are to be recorded in Material Inspection Report (MIR) by QC Engineer at site and submitted to Client and to get their approval. This will smoothen the process of Bills getting approved by Client / PMC on time.
