To maintain the quality of foods/snacks and to ensure HACEP and ISO are followed in the plant

1. To ensure that incoming materials and finished products are analyzed as per

given procedures

2. To carry out the specified analysis covering physio-chemical and sensory

evaluation for raw materials and finished products

3. Responsible for managing the laboratory by managing day to day analysis, Lab

coop and capability building

4. Reporting plant quality data and Consumer comments analysis

5. To provide required evidence to all concerned regarding implementation of

quality systems

6. To provide technical support to achieve the objectives of the Quality System

7. To provide direction to colleagues for laboratory investigations to identify

specs, errors or deviations

8. To prepare schemes for monitoring & evaluating performance of quality, collect

feedback and suggest remedial action

9. To co-ordinate with customer for analysis of customer complaints and follow up

short and long term corrective actions

10. To conduct training on different modules covering food safety, HACCP, GMP

and Hygiene practices, QMS (ISO)

11. To conduct Internal Lab and Plant audits

12. To conduct vendor assessments & audits to qualify new suppliers and improve

the suppliers’ capability

13. Undertake COA certifications
