Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in C# programming and Visual Studio to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycles within an agile organization and possess excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand Requirements:

• Gather and analyze requirements to ensure a clear understanding of project goals.
• Translate requirements and user stories into efficient and effective designs.

1. Prepare Test Plans:

• Develop comprehensive test plans that cover all aspects of the software.
• Ensure test plans are aligned with project requirements and objectives.

1. Execute Test Cases:

• Perform various types of testing, including unitary and integrated testing.
• Execute test cases for onboarding and upgrading different clients.

1. Analyze Test Results:

• Analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Report defects to the development team for timely resolution.

1. Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:

• Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and tools.
• Ensure test scripts are effective and testable.

1. Collaborate with Team Members:

• Work closely with other developers to understand and integrate their code.
• Seek information and help whenever required to ensure project success.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. C# Programming:

• Proven ability in C# programming language.
• Recent experience in C# development.

1. Visual Studio:

• Proficiency in using Visual Studio for software development.

1. Automation Tools:

• Experience with Selenium (WebDriver), Cucumber, Specflow, Postman, RestAssured.
• Proficiency in TestNG or NUnit.

1. Data Structures and Algorithms:

• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.

1. Troubleshooting:

• Excellent troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues.

1. API Automation:

• Experience in API automation.

1. Version Control:

• Proficiency in using Git for version control.

1. Communication and Collaboration:

• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or related software engineering background.
• Experience in the financial industry.
• Curiosity about the functional part of the product with base knowledge about the finance industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
