Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Kanunga Extrusion Private Limited. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our automotive steel products to tier 1 and tier 2 vendors of major auto OEMs. This is a full-time position with a job location in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. Junior candidates with 1 to 3 years of experience are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in technical sales or a similar role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to understand and effectively present technical product information
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and result-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with the automotive industry and understanding of automotive steel products is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve company targets and expand market share
- Identify potential customers and build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Provide technical product knowledge and support to customers
- Generate sales leads and follow up on business opportunities
- Prepare and deliver effective sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Negotiate contracts and close sales deals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and resolve issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitors' activities
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales management team
