Job Overview

ABCD&CO is seeking a Qualified Chartered Accountant for a full-time fresher position based in Chennai. The role demands a dynamic individual to manage essential accounting responsibilities in alignment with our internal auditing and risk management. Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in accounting and auditing is mandatory, ensuring precise financial assessments and reports.
• Hands-on expertise with TDS and GST, crucial for maintaining compliance and seamless tax processes (Mandatory skill).
• Ability to conduct internal and statutory audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (Mandatory skill).
• Experience with direct and indirect taxation, vital for comprehensive financial management.
• Knowledge in filing GSTR 3B and GSTR 1, integral for monthly reconciliation and compliance.
• Ability to handle GSTR 9 and 9C, essential for end-of-year tax documentation.
• Capability to prepare monthly MIS reports, aiding in strategic decision-making through financial insights.
• Experience in closure of books of accounts, necessary to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial audits to assess company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Corporate law compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of various GST returns including GSTR 3B, GSTR 1, GSTR 9, and 9C.
• Maintain and reconcile intercompany transactions, preparing financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports including MIS reports, providing insights into financial performance.
• Collaborate in the closure of monthly and annual accounts, ensuring financial records are complete and accurate.
• Implement efficient internal control procedures for effective risk management and compliance.
• Support tax assessments and inspections by providing necessary documentation and clarification.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training to stay updated with industry standards.
