Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Manager - Accounts to join our team at Kalliyath Group. As the Assistant Manager - Accounts, you will be responsible for managing the financial records, transactions, and reporting for our organization. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting. The role is based in Ernakulam, Kerala, India and is a full-time position.


Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and tax regulations.


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounts department.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and reports.
  • Coordinate with auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting processes and systems.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
