The Desktop & Laptop Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategies to drive sales growth, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for desktop and laptop products. This role involves both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, ensuring that the sales team meets and exceeds performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy Development:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the desktop and laptop segments.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.
  1. Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities with existing and potential customers.
  1. Sales Operations:
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities.
  1. Product Knowledge and Training:
  • Stay updated on the latest desktop and laptop products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Provide product training and technical support to the sales team and customers.
  1. Budget Management:
  • Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Track and control expenses to ensure they remain within budget.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in desktop and laptop sales is highly preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
