Job Overview

Kaivanya Extrusion Technik is a world-renowned screw and barrel specialist company, is seeking a Design Engineer. This full-time position requires a mid-level professional with 4 to 6 years of experience. The role is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 4 to 6 years of experience in mechanical design and engineering
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance is a plus

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative screw and barrel solutions for the plastics and rubber industries
• Utilize CAD software to create 2D and 3D models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure feasibility and optimize production processes
• Conduct performance tests and analyze data to validate the performance of the designed products
• Work closely with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide customized designs
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes
• Participate in design reviews, providing insights and suggestions for improvement
• Assist in resolving technical issues and challenges during the manufacturing and installation processes
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines
