Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling and visually engaging videos, adhering to project guidelines and timelines.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team, directors, and content creators to understand the vision and objectives of each project.
• Enhance video content by adding effects, graphics, transitions, and other visual elements.
• Select appropriate music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the overall impact of the videos.
• Review and revise video content based on feedback from team members, ensuring a cohesive and impactful final product.
• Maintain an organized file structure for all video assets, ensuring easy access for future projects.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and visual storytelling.
• Occasionally participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas for new video concepts.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative approach.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and file compression.
• Solid knowledge of visual storytelling principles and composition.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the final output.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, colour correction, and visual effects is a plus.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in video editing or a related role.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Video Editing, Media Studies or a related field
