Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Marketing
o Set up meetings with potential dealers across India and demonstrate the company products and convert them into a business opportunity.
o Identify, research, and contact prospective customers and build positive relationships that will generate future sales and repeat business.
o Analyse the market to search for new potential customers and collects specific product requirements
o Conduct new business development activities including, new customer contacts, tradeshows/exhibitions and networking.
2. Sales Strategy and Planning:
o Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with the company’s overall business objectives.
o Set and achieve sales targets and objectives.
o Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
o Establish annual, quarterly, monthly or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule your own activities so these targets are met
4. Customer Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address customer issues and concerns promptly.
o Participate in Developing strategies for customer retention and growth.
5. Sales Operations and Management:
o Oversee the sales operations and processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
o Manage sales budgets and forecasts.
o Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with business objectives.
o Provide feedback and insights to product and marketing teams to improve offerings and market positioning.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
o Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
o Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales executive role.
• Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
o Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
o Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
o Should be flexible to travel whenever required
Please note: the job requirement is to work from the office. There is no work from home option available. The candidate will have to travel local and domestic as per the business requirements.
