Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced WebMethods Developer to join our IT team. The successful 

candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting our WebMethods 

environment. This role requires a deep understanding of integration principles and the ability to 

design and implement technical solutions to meet business requirements. The WebMethods 

Developer will work closely with business users, IT teams, and vendors to deliver high-quality IT 

services and support.

Responsibilities:

 Analyze user requirements to prepare technical specifications and develop integration 

solutions using WebMethods.

 Design, configure, develop, and test WebMethods projects, ensuring alignment with 

business goals and IT standards.

 Deploy and support WebMethods components, including Integration Server, Universal 

Messaging, API Gateway, and more.

 Serve as a technical expert on microservice-based applications, utilizing Java and Spring 

Framework to create REST API services.

 Collaborate with the infrastructure team on integration and project-related tasks, 

including performance tuning and maintenance of databases.

 Engage in UAT and production support to ensure system availability and stability.

 Evaluate emerging technologies and propose solutions that align with business objectives 

and IT strategies.

 Document all work according to required standards, methods, and tools.

Requirements/Skills:

 Solid understanding of EAI, middleware, and integration principles at the enterprise level.

 Experience with WebMethods product suite (versions 9.x & 10.x) and components such 

as Integration Server, My WebMethods Server (MWS), and Adapters (JDBC, MQ).

 Proficiency in developing web services (SOAP, REST APIs) and a strong understanding of 

SOA.

 Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and MVC.

 Experience with Docker and container technologies (Kubernetes is a plus).

 Demonstrable expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, and build tools/scripts 

(YAML/MAVEN/ANT).

 Familiarity with security protocols, including logging, JSBC, LDAP, and JWT.

 Minimum 5 years of experience with Broker/Messaging and strong administration and 

development skills in WebMethods Integration Server.

 Strong database skills, particularly with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures.

 Ability to write Java services and experience with scripting (batch script, PowerShell).

 Experience with Angular / React JS-based applications is advantageous.

 Knowledge of logistics business is a bonus.

Education and Experience

BTech or relevant educational field required
