Candidates should possess a rich experience of 10 to 30 years within the field, bringing in-depth knowledge and strategic oversight to the role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have deep experience in a VMC machining environment (Mandatory skill), showcasing hands-on experience and understanding of operations.
• Proficiency in CNC Programming and Operations (Mandatory skill), ensuring accurate and efficient machining workflows.
• In-depth knowledge of various machining processes (Mandatory skill), enabling effective management and optimization of production.
• Proficiency in tooling is required, to support the seamless selection and use of tools and components in machining processes.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, necessary for identifying issues and creating effective solutions in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong decision-making skills that support leadership in selecting methods and strategies to achieve organizational objectives.
• Effective communication skills to clearly relay technical information and collaborate with different departments and teams.
• Leadership and team management abilities to oversee and guide a skilled workforce towards achieving operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the operations of Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) to ensure high-quality production output.
• Develop and implement efficient CNC programming strategies to enhance machining processes and reduce cycle times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize machining practices and integrate innovative manufacturing solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards while maintaining a safe and organized production environment.
• Analyze production data and metrics to assess productivity and devise improvements in machining processes and workflow.
• Lead and mentor a team of machinists and operators, fostering a collaborative and skill-enhancing work environment.
• Coordinate with procurement and supply chain departments to ensure timely availability of necessary tooling and materials.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand and accommodate client needs and feedback, aiming for continuous service enhancement.
