We are looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating high-quality videos for a variety of platforms (social media, websites, presentations, etc.), with a strong eye for storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics. You will be responsible for editing and assembling recorded raw footage into a finished project that matches the company’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.

You’ll collaborate with our marketing and content teams to create engaging video content that captures our brand’s voice and message.

• Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, compelling videos that align with our brand guidelines and objectives.
• Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging video content for various platforms including social media, websites, and training modules.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our content creators, designers, and marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
• Feedback Incorporation: Implement feedback and make revisions to ensure final videos meet our standards.
• Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and techniques to bring innovative ideas to our projects.

What We’re Looking For:

• Skills: Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Creativity: Strong creative vision and attention to detail in video editing and storytelling.

• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your previous video editing work (academic projects, personal projects, etc.).

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit videos for promotional, educational, social media, and other digital content
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product
• Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of videos
• Collaborate with directors and production team to ensure creative alignment
• Apply color grading, audio editing, and sound mixing to videos as needed
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and video editing techniques
• Manage and organize video libraries and assets
• Optimize video content for social media platforms, including aspect ratios and formats for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
• Assist with video shoots as necessary (camera operation, lighting, etc.)

Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of video editing work

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools

Experience with After Effects, Motion Graphics, and visual effects is a plus

Knowledge of audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition) is a plus

Familiarity with color grading, sound design, and video formats

Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities

Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative teams

Knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and basic cinematography is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Film Studies, Media, or a related field (preferred but not required)
