Job Overview

We are seeking a Junior Bank Sales Officer for a full-time position based in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the banking sector. The primary responsibilities include achieving sales targets and maintaining excellent customer relationships.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Sales (Mandatory skill) - Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales targets with a track record of success in a sales role
  • Customer Relationship Management (Mandatory skill) - Excellent skills in managing and strengthening customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Communication Skills (Mandatory skill) - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
  • Financial Products Knowledge - Deep understanding of various financial products and services to advise and sell to clients
  • Negotiation Skills - Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales deals while maintaining profit margins
  • Target Achievement - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach potential customers to promote and sell bank products and services
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the management
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the management team
  • Stay updated on the latest financial products and services offered by the bank to effectively address customer needs
  • Generate leads through networking, research, and cold calling to expand the customer base
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing prompt and effective solutions to customer queries and issues
  • Report regularly to the sales manager on progress and market trends, including customer feedback
