Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, manage budgets, provide financial analysis, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership to support financial decision-making and contribute to the organization’s overall financial strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on key financial metrics (e.g., revenue, expenses, profit margins).
- Ensure financial reports are accurate, timely, and in compliance with accounting standards.
- Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and collaborate with department heads to forecast future financial performance.
- Monitor and track budget performance, providing recommendations for corrective actions where necessary.
- Update and revise forecasts based on business conditions and changes in financial performance.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Manage the organization’s cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
- Monitor cash position, accounts receivable, and accounts payable to optimize working capital.
- Financial Strategy & Planning:
- Support the CFO in developing long-term financial strategies and business plans.
- Provide financial insights to drive decision-making related to investments, cost-saving initiatives, and capital expenditures.
- Compliance & Internal Controls:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Establish and enforce strong internal controls to prevent errors, fraud, and inefficiencies.
- Coordinate audits and implement audit recommendations to improve financial processes.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance on financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department.
- Ad-hoc Financial Projects:
- Assist with financial modeling, due diligence, and scenario analysis for special projects, mergers, acquisitions, or business expansions.
- Evaluate financial risks and opportunities related to potential investments or strategic changes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or CMA certification is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks), Microsoft Excel (advanced level), and data analysis tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods.
- Occasional travel may be required.
