Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in financial modeling to assess potential business opportunities and prepare financial forecasts.
  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems for comprehensive financial management.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
  • Proficient in Hyperion for robust financial planning, analysis, and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and maintain budgeting frameworks and forecasting models to support financial planning.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, capable of interpreting complex datasets to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Experience in risk management, with the ability to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance standards to ensure all financial activities are legally compliant.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and accounting.
  • Develop and monitor financial models to support business planning and decision-making processes.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify cost improvement opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with management to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
  • Lead financial audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure accurate and timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive work environment.
