• Strong understanding of various culinary techniques relevant to continental cuisine.
• Thorough knowledge of menu items and ability to execute recipes accurately.
• Familiarity with diverse ingredients and their optimal use in preparations.
• Exceptional time management skills to maintain kitchen workflow and meet service demands.
• Organized in managing multiple tasks and priorities within a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide variety of continental dishes.
• Maintain kitchen safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Ensure all food items are stored and rotated correctly to maintain quality and freshness.
• Handle equipment and tools with care, maintaining them in good working condition.
• Support senior chefs in executing their duties efficiently during service.
• Collaborate with the team to improve kitchen efficiency and output.
• Contribute ideas for menu development and improvement of recipes.
• Regularly report to the head chef on kitchen operations and dish preparations.
