Qualifications and Skills

• BSc or GNM Nursing degree
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Scrub Nurse
• Experience in cardiac catheterization procedures
• Proficiency in Malayalam language
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placements, and other invasive procedures.

• Ensure a sterile environment and adherence to infection control protocols.

• Conduct thorough pre-procedure patient assessments and obtain relevant medical history.

• Monitor patients during procedures, assessing vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and response to interventions.

• Educate patients and their families about cardiac procedures, potential risks, and post-procedural care.

• Provide instructions on medications, lifestyle modifications, and follow-up care.

• Respond promptly and effectively to emergent situations during procedures.

• Implement appropriate interventions in collaboration with the Cath Lab team.

• Administer medications, including conscious sedation, as prescribed by physicians.

• Monitor patients for potential medication side effects and complications.
