Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a maximum of 10 years of work experience in the field. This position requires expertise in automation testing and a strong understanding of relevant technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient in test automation frameworks, particularly Selenium, to design and optimize test scripts.
• Strong programming skills, with an emphasis on Java for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
• In-depth understanding of scripting languages and their use in automation testing environments.
• Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery.
• Familiarity with API testing tools and methodologies to validate and verify complex systems.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies to effectively contribute to dynamic, cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities to identify, analyze, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to integrate and implement automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform regular audits of test frameworks and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
• Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases to validate application functions and features.
• Analyze test results and work closely with developers to resolve defects and ensure correct resolution.
• Document test processes, results, and any technical issues to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
• Identify testing needs and provide recommendations for tools and best practices that align with company goals.
• Mentor and support junior automation engineers in their professional development and project contributions.
