Description
The Institutional/Commercial Sales Manager role at Solar Hitech Solutions is an exciting and challenging
role that will directly impact the revenue growth and profitability of the company. The role involves
integrating, promoting, and selling Solar Hitech’s commercial solutions portfolio to institutional clients.
Solution Portfolio
• Solar Thermal Solutions which includes Evacuated Tube Collector (ETC) and Flat Plate Collector
(FPC) solutions for water heating with storage vessels
• Heat Pump Solutions – Stand Alone or Hybrid with solar for pressurized storage vessels
• Solar Photo Voltaic Solutions
o Rooftop On-Grid and Off-Grid Solutions in the sub 1 MW range
o Solar PV Modules and Inverters – Stand alone units to commercial clients
o Solar Lighting Solutions (Street Lights/Lanterns) to Institutional Clients/NGOs
Targets
Institutional buyers of solar water heating solutions
• Hotels, Hospitals & Other Commercial Establishments
• Building Contractors/Construction Agencies/Architects
• Industrial Clients
• NGOs/Government Agencies
Responsibilities
Institutional Sales Planning, Lead Generation & Selling
• Identify the key markets/regions within I and develop a plan to promote Solar Hitech’s
commercial solutions to institutional clients
• Reach out to consultant/PMC agencies which float tenders for commercial solutions and pitch
Solar Hitech solutions to relevant contacts
• Create a list of institutional clients by target segment and market and generate leads/enquiries • Setup meetings with institutional clients and understand requirements for commercial
solutions.
• Pass on requirements to factory team and provide inputs to design/develop a solution for the
client with appropriate pricing.
• Engage in tender bidding and commercial negotiations with client
• Close order with client and ensure order dispatches and installation
• Develop and own the monthly/quarterly/annual institutional sales plan
• Track monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets and follow up on a regular basis to ensure targets
being met.
Client Account Management Marketing
• Maintain the relationship with existing institutional clients and follow up regularly to improve
account sales or cross-sales of associated/complementary products/solutions
• Ensure client installations are working in order and manage after-sales service with help from
technical team.
• Track any pending revenue collections from clients and manage credit.
• Promote Solar Hitech institutional solutions using collateral/branding at special
events/exhibitions.
