Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Statutory Compliances Specialist to join our team in Bangalore Urban. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The role involves ensuring company adherence to various statutory regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience in statutory compliance with a solid understanding of legal requirements and regulations.
- Proven expertise in payroll compliance to ensure accurate and timely wage and tax payments.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law to uphold company policies and employee rights.
- Proficiency in tax regulation compliance for effective corporate tax management.
- Familiarity with occupational safety standards to maintain a safe workplace environment.
- Competence in social security administration to manage employee benefits effectively.
- Experienced in workers’ compensation reporting to handle employee compensation claims.
- Skilled in audit preparation to support internal and external audit processes.
- Must have experience with statutory compliance processes and practices (Mandatory skill).
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure company compliance with statutory regulations and standards.
- Prepare and maintain documentation related to tax and employment law compliance.
- Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage payroll and benefit compliance.
- Coordinate with external auditors during compliance audits and inspections.
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures within the organization.
- Stay updated with changes in labor laws, safety standards, and tax regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance-related matters.
